Kicking off Spring 2013

Spring 2013 looks to be a promising semester in the Fire Ecology Lab.

We are pleased to welcome three M.S. students to the lab-- Rachel Granberg (B.S., Washington State University), Anna Meyer (B.S., Louisiana State University) and Nick Goforth (B.S., University of Arkansas at Little Rock).  Rachel and Anna will be working on the effects of land management (prescribed fire, thinning, wildfire) on horned lizard populations in central Texas.  Nick will be working on the effects of fire on tree-dwelling bats in New Mexico pine forests.

Dr. Verble will also be teaching Fire Ecology and Management this semester.

Stay tuned for more updates and information about incoming students!
